How to Easily Make Avocado Coffee

Avocado coffee might sound a little strange to begin with, but we’re sure you’re love the thick texture and yummy coffee taste once you give it a go. See how to make our avocado coffee recipe here – you will need a blender for this!

Where does avocado coffee come from?

Avocado coffee is popular in Indonesia (where they call it es alpukat kopi), Vietnam (where it’s called Sinh tố bơ), Brazil and the Philippines! It’s unclear exactly where avocado coffee originates from but it’s definitely a popular coffee across the world!

What does an iced avocado coffee taste like?

Iced coffee with avocado tastes like a thick coffee drink. Thanks to the addition of the avocado, you get that creamy and silky texture with all the coffee flavour!

How to make avocado coffee in 6 easy steps

Avocado iced coffee ingredients

Method

  1. Brew your coffee in your NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® Pod Coffee Machine and set to the side to cool.
  2. Cut your avocado in half and stake out the pit
  3. Pop your avocado, condensed milk and vanilla syrup in a blender. Blend until it’s smooth. If you like it a little chunkier, blend it for less time!
  4. Add chocolate syrup to the inside of the glass and add ice.
  5. Pour the cooled coffee on top of your ice
  6. Spoon on your avocado mixture and give it a stir. And enjoy!

Is an avocado coffee vegan?

Our NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® Espresso Coffee Pods do not contain milk as they’re a black coffee. Then, if you use a condensed milk alternative, you can enjoy a vegan avocado coffee! Our advice is to opt for coconut milk for a deliciously tropical flavour.
